Terms of service

These terms cover the Pets Forever website and mobile app, operated by Cherished Brands LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using them, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. Questions are welcome at support@petsforeverapp.com.
Launch status: Pets Forever is now available on Android and iPhone. The subscription terms below apply when you choose to purchase a subscription through an available app-store checkout.
Using Pets Forever
Pets Forever helps you preserve pet photographs, stories, sounds, and memories. Pets Forever is intended for teens aged 13 and older and adults. If you are under the age of majority where you live, use the app with permission from your parent or legal guardian where required. You must also meet the requirements of the app store you use, including those for purchases.
You may use the app for your personal, lawful purposes, including creating and sharing your own keepsakes. Do not use it to infringe another person’s rights, distribute unlawful material, interfere with the service, bypass purchase controls, or access systems without permission. These restrictions do not limit activities that applicable law expressly permits.
Your memories belong to you
You retain ownership of your photographs, recordings, stories, and other content. You are responsible for having permission to use and share that content, including photographs or recordings involving other people.
You allow the app to process your content only as needed to perform the functions you choose, such as displaying memories, organizing photos, making a book, exporting a backup, or sharing a file. These terms do not give us ownership of your memories or permission to use them in advertising.
The app’s software, branding, and supplied designs belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, nonexclusive license to use the app as permitted by these terms and the applicable app-store rules. You may keep, print, and share keepsakes you create using the app; this does not transfer ownership of the app or its underlying design assets.
Device storage and backups
The current app stores memories locally on your device. It does not provide an account-based cloud archive or automatic synchronization between devices. A subscription is not a promise of permanent online storage or recovery.
Keep backups and exported files in a separate, safe location, especially before changing devices, clearing app data, or uninstalling. Check that your backup includes the material you need, and keep separate copies of exported PDFs. Device loss, deletion, damage, or a failed transfer can cause data loss. We cannot recover a device-only copy that we do not hold.
Free features and Premium
Some features are free and others require an active Pets Forever Premium subscription. The purchase screen describes the features, price, currency, billing period, and any offer available to you. Feature availability may depend on your device and app version. Do not purchase based on a feature described only as planned or coming soon.
Premium supports additional creation and customization tools. When Premium expires, access to those tools may end. Expiration alone does not delete your existing memories or exported files. You can continue viewing, listening to, and exporting existing saved content using the app’s available Free tools. Keeping existing content does not guarantee recovery if local files are lost or deleted.
Subscriptions, renewal, and cancellation
If you purchase the monthly plan, it renews automatically each month until canceled. Your app-store account is charged at the price and billing period shown when you confirm the purchase, subject to the store’s terms and any applicable taxes. No free trial or discount applies unless it is expressly shown in your purchase offer.
Manage or cancel your subscription through the store account used to purchase it. Cancel before the next renewal in accordance with the timing shown by that store. Deleting the app or your memories does not cancel a subscription. After cancellation, access ordinarily continues for the period already paid for, unless a refund, store action, or applicable law changes that period.
See Apple’s cancellation instructions or Google Play’s cancellation instructions. If you cannot find your subscription, check which store account made the purchase or contact support.
Refund eligibility is governed by applicable law and the purchasing store’s policies. Request a refund through that store; contact us if you need help identifying a purchase or resolving an app problem. Cancellation does not automatically refund a past payment. Nothing in these terms removes a refund or other remedy you are entitled to by law.
Use Restore Purchases with the original store account to recover an eligible purchase entitlement. Restoring a purchase does not restore your device’s photographs or other memory files, and it does not guarantee transfer of a subscription between Apple and Google accounts.
Any future subscription price changes will follow applicable law and the store’s notice and consent requirements. You may cancel before a changed renewal takes effect.
Privacy and outside services
Our privacy policy explains information handling. App stores, device backup services, and destinations you choose for exported files also have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for operating those independent services.
For an app obtained through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies unless an applicable custom license is supplied through the store. These service terms supplement, and do not replace, that app license or any mandatory store terms.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Pets Forever useful and reliable, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or freedom from errors. Updates may change features or require a supported operating system. If a paid service is materially reduced or discontinued, we will provide any notice and remedies required by law or the applicable store rules.
We may restrict access to services we operate when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, abuse, or a security problem. This does not give us a right to take ownership of your memories. You may stop using the app at any time; cancel any active subscription separately and export the content you want to keep first.
Your legal rights
Pets Forever is a keepsake tool, not veterinary, medical, or mental-health advice. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided as available without additional promises beyond those expressly stated. Nothing in these terms excludes mandatory consumer protections, statutory warranties, or liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct.
If a problem arises, please contact us so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not require arbitration, waive your right to bring a claim, or prevent you from contacting a consumer-protection authority. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent lawful.
Updates and contact
We may update these terms as the app or our services change. We will update the date on this page and give additional notice of material changes where required. Changes do not remove rights you already have under applicable law.
